Product Design · Mumbai

Product design that ships, scales, and sells.

End-to-end product design — from problem framing and MVP scoping to scaled design systems. We pair strategy, design and engineering in one room so what gets shipped is what gets shipped to users, not a beautiful Figma frame that never makes it past the handoff.

How we earn your confidence

Four signals that show how we demonstrate Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness on this service — visible to both your team and the search engines that rank us.

Experience

Products shipped across SaaS, fintech & D2C

100+ live products designed across vertical SaaS, lending, healthtech and consumer marketplaces — products actively used by millions of monthly users in production.

Expertise

MVP-to-growth lifecycle expertise

We design the same product across its lifecycle — pre-MVP scoping, launch, post-launch iteration, and scale — so the system holds together as the team and roadmap grow.

Authoritativeness

Product strategists, not pixel-pushers

Our designers operate as product managers who design — opinionated on scope, monetisation and metrics, not just spacing tokens and component states.

Trustworthiness

Research-led, OKR-aligned

Every design decision ties back to a user research finding and a business OKR. We measure success in product KPIs — activation, retention, conversion — not pages of Figma shipped.

We've helped founders cut MVP scope in half, shipped products from blank Figma to production in under 12 weeks, and redesigned legacy interfaces that lifted activation by 30–60% — without rewriting the backend.

Most agencies still treat product design as the visual layer applied at the end of engineering. That model fails because every meaningful product decision — what to build, who it's for, how it monetises, what gets measured — is fundamentally a design decision.

For early-stage founders, the leverage of getting product design right is enormous. The right MVP scope and user experience is often the difference between Series A traction and a quiet pivot — and we've shipped both outcomes enough times to know what separates them.

How we work

From blank Figma to shipped product — in five disciplined steps.

Five disciplines we run in lockstep so what ships is what was scoped, and what was scoped is what users actually wanted.

01

Discovery & product strategy

Founder workshops, user interviews, market analysis and Jobs-To-Be-Done framing. We produce a clear answer to the only question that matters at this stage: what specifically should we build, for whom, and why now?

02

Problem framing & opportunity sizing

We pressure-test the problem before we design a solution — sizing the audience, mapping competitive products, and stress-testing willingness-to-pay so the product brief survives contact with the market.

03

Concepting & MVP scoping

From discovery, we narrow to the smallest set of features that delivers core value and lets you start learning from real users. Most MVPs are still over-scoped on first pass — we help you ship faster by saying no.

04

Design & build sprints

Two-week sprints with paired design + engineering — wireframes, prototypes, production UI, components and motion specs reviewed and shipped together. No "throw it over the wall" handoffs.

05

Launch, measure & iterate

Instrumentation goes in before launch, not after. We watch activation, time-to-value and retention curves with you weekly, then turn the data into the next sprint of design decisions.

Product design disciplines

Six product surfaces. One coordinated practice.

Product design is no longer one job. We run the six disciplines below as one connected programme — not six disconnected freelancers on Slack.

MVP design

Ship the smallest lovable product — scoped tight, tested with real users, ready for engineering in 8–12 weeks instead of six months of "almost done".

ScopingPrototypesProduction UI

Zero-to-one products

New product lines, second products, and spin-outs — we run the discovery, strategy and design from blank page through paying customers.

Product redesigns

Modernise legacy interfaces and reduce accumulated UX debt — without rewriting the backend or forcing a year-long replatform.

Design + engineering paired

Designers and engineers sit in the same standup. Tokens, components and motion specs land in code the same sprint they're approved in Figma.

Paired teamsTokensPixel parity

Growth & onboarding design

Activation flows, time-to-value redesigns, paywalls and retention loops — the high-leverage screens where small design changes move the NSM the most.

Design ops & systems

Design systems, component libraries, contribution models and documentation that hold up as the team grows from three designers to thirty.

Deliverables

Six formats that actually move the product.

The unglamorous work that separates a product that ships from a product that lingers on a Figma canvas. Each format below is part of every engagement.

Strategy workshops

Founder + leadership workshops to align on problem, audience, scope and success metrics — before any pixel is moved.

Wireframes & prototypes

Low-fidelity flows and clickable prototypes tested with real users before production design ever begins.

Production UI

Pixel-perfect, accessible Figma designs across every state and breakpoint — ready for engineering without rework.

Design systems

Tokens, components, patterns and contribution guides — built so your engineers can ship new screens without re-asking design.

Engineering handoff

Spec docs, motion notes, edge cases and empty states documented for engineers — not buried in Figma comments.

Post-launch instrumentation

Event taxonomy, analytics setup and dashboards shipped with the product — so day-one data informs week-two decisions.

Measurement

Pixels are the input. Product KPIs are the output.

Six KPIs we report on every cycle so design activity always ladders back to product outcomes — not pages of Figma shipped.

01

Activation rate

% of new users who complete the core action that defines product value — the single most important early-stage metric.

02

Time-to-value

How quickly a new user reaches the "aha" moment — minutes, not days, is the bar for almost every consumer product.

03

Retention curve

Week-1, week-4 and week-12 retention by cohort — the curve that decides whether your product is a vitamin or a painkiller.

04

NPS / CSAT

Qualitative pulse on perceived value — paired with the quantitative metrics so the why never gets lost behind the what.

05

Feature adoption

% of active users touching each major feature — what's loved, what's ignored, what gets cut from the next release.

06

North-star metric

The one number that best represents delivered customer value — every other KPI ladders back to this single line.

Why teams stay with us

What you get that most product agencies skip.

Picking the right product design partner is less about polished portfolios and more about whether the team ships, scopes honestly, and stays in the trenches with engineering — release after release.

Product strategists, not pixel-pushers — we own scope, metrics and trade-offs, not just spacing.

MVP-to-scale experience — we've designed the same product across pre-seed, Series A and post-Series-B.

Design + engineering paired teams — handoff isn't an event, it's a daily standup.

OKR-aligned design — every sprint ties back to a product KPI on the leadership dashboard.

Research-led decisions — user interviews and usage data, not opinions in a slack thread.

Direct senior-designer access — no hiding behind account managers or junior proxies.

Documented design decisions — so your future PM and design hires understand the why, not just the what.

Skin in the game — for select bets we offer hybrid retainer + equity engagement models.

FAQs

Questions founders ask before they sign.

Do you work with pre-funded startups or only Series A+?
Both. A meaningful portion of our work is with pre-seed and seed-stage founders — often the engagements where great design has the highest leverage. Pricing models range from fixed-scope MVP design to hybrid retainer + equity arrangements for select bets.
How is product design different from UI/UX design?
UI/UX design typically focuses on existing product scope and improving the interface and experience. Product design includes those disciplines but extends earlier — into product strategy, scope definition, and ongoing iteration based on usage data. Product designers are essentially product managers who design.
Will you sign an NDA before discussing our product idea?
Yes — we sign NDAs as standard practice before any substantive product discussion. Founder ideas deserve protection and we treat early-stage discussions with appropriate confidentiality.
Can you help with our pitch deck and investor demo?
Yes. Investor-ready prototypes, pitch deck product visuals, and demo flow design are part of what we do regularly for fundraising stage clients. Strong product visuals materially improve investor conversion in Indian and global VC contexts.
What does product design typically cost for an MVP?
Most MVP design engagements range from ₹3 to ₹12 lakhs depending on scope, platforms (web, iOS, Android), and research depth. We provide fixed-scope proposals after an initial discovery call.
