A 96-Page Storefront, Rebuilt
How YOBO’s store was redesigned twice over — as a standalone 96-page site, and as a drop-in pack for its live Shopify theme.
The Challenge
Redesigning a live store is the awkward kind of project — you cannot take rankings or revenue offline while you rebuild.
- Redesign yobolovesit.com without disturbing the live store
- Build from the real catalogue, not placeholder content
- Let the team adopt the new design at their own pace
How We Built It
One design, two delivery tracks — because you cannot take a live store offline to redesign it.
- Build from the real catalogue — a Node build script generates all 96 pages from the store’s own product data, so nothing on the preview is a placeholder
- Zero-dependency pipeline — the whole build runs on Node 20 with no packages to install, audit or keep patched
- A Shopify media kit, generated — a second script prepares the 162 MB image set the Horizon theme needs, rather than anyone exporting by hand
- Safe by construction — every preview page ships
noindexwith canonicals pointing at the live store, and checkout hands back to the real cart

The Impact
The team can walk the entire redesign at production scale, then adopt it in the Horizon theme at their own pace. The live store keeps its rankings and its revenue for the whole of that decision.
The Results
A redesign you can inspect at full scale before it touches the shop.
