Wine, Without the Rules
A motion-led brand experience for LIBRE — non-alcoholic wine — where every product claim on the page came off the label.
The Challenge
Launching a new category means the claims matter as much as the craft — and a drinks label is a regulated document.
- Make non-alcoholic wine read as an occasion, not a compromise
- Get every product and regulatory claim right
- Carry the brand through motion without the site feeling heavy
How We Built It
A rule we wrote down before the first page: nothing on this site invents a product fact.
- Two supplied sources, kept separate — back labels gave ingredients, per-100ml nutrition and alcohol declarations; the producer’s sheets gave tasting notes, specifications and pairing guidance
- Gaps declared, not filled — the flavour-profile chart stays unmounted because the sheets give prose, not numbers. The page says what is missing instead of estimating it
- Motion as the brand — GSAP with ScrollTrigger for the sequencing, Lenis for the scroll feel and Three.js for the bottle, on Next.js 15 and React 19
- Even the photography is annotated — where client-supplied imagery shows artwork that differs from the real packaging, that is written down rather than quietly shipped

drinklibre.in — the five SKUs and their alcohol declarations, exactly as the labels read.
The Impact
The site can be checked against the bottle line by line — which is the only defensible way to publish a drinks label. Live at drinklibre.in.
The Results
A launch site a regulator could read next to the bottle.
